And now for one completely out of left field. Rolling Stones guitarist, Keith Richards recently gave an interview with New York Daily News. In it he talks about how Rock music as he knows it is deader than dead, how groups like Metallica and Black Sabbath are jokes and also about how pretty much everyone who listens to hip hop are tone deaf:
Rap: so many words, so little said. What rap did that was impressive was to show there are so many tone-deaf people out there. All they need is a drum beat and somebody yelling over it and they're happy. There's an enormous market for people who can't tell one note from another.Props to StereoGum and New York Daily News.
