Yea, about that Lupe Fiasco/Chief Keef beef...

Recently Lupe Fiasco sat down with SOHH to share his thoughts on the Chicago music scene, as well as the recent spike in violent crime that has been plaguing the city. When asked his thoughts on Chicago newcomers like Rockie Fresh and Chief Keef, Lupe responded frankly, "Chief Keef scares me.":

Chief Keef scares me. Not him, specifically, but just the culture that he represents... The murder rate in Chicago is skyrocketing and you see who's doing it... They all look like Chief Keef. It's so visceral... He looks like my nephew, he could be any kid on the street.
To hear the things he raps about, specifically comparing it to, you open up the newspaper and there's 22 shootings this weekend, the next day there's 3, next day there's 4... It scares me to see that... I'm not at him, i'm at where he came from, and that places like that still exist and they incubate that mentality.
Well, Keef didn't take kindly to Lupe's words and took to Twitter to make sure he knew about it:

Lupe responded back to Keef:

"ive seen it in every way you can possibly imagine and its nothing to be proud of @ChiefKeef it TAKES and TAKES till there is nothing left"
"i choose not to indulge becuz its lil guys that look up to me so i try and show them a better way @ChiefKeef i aint try to be BE better"
"I'm trying to DO better @ChiefKeef as we all should. We were born with no expectations to make it. born in the hood, live there die there.."
At a recent concert Lupe made sure to give a special shout out to Keef, and let him know there's no ill will:

So it looks like this beef, based on what looks to have been a big misunderstanding, has fizzled out just as fast as it got cranked up.
