HOT 97's Peter Rosenberg and Funkmaster Flex go at Nicki Minaj at Summer Jam


This year at HOT 97's popular Summer Jam concert, HOT 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg was feeling some type of way about, well, either commercial artists in general or Nicki Minaj in particular. Either way, he had this to say about the YMCMB emcee: 


Young Money boss Lil Wayne took exception to the comments and demanded an apology. When one didn't come, Wayne decided to pull all Young Money artists from Summer Jam instead:


After getting the news that Nicki wouldn't be performing, Funkmaster Flex took the stage during what should've been her set and had a few words of his own for the star:

 

Reportedly Minaj was planning to have Lauryn Hill and Azealia Banks come out on stage with her, as well as a number of Young Money artists and was planning what she claimed would be a historic performance:
